About Youth Talks 2.0

Youth Talks is a learning event organized by the Youth Works Association keeping in mind of our goal: “Network For A Better Net-worth.” The idea behind this event is to seek wisdom from various learned & experienced people from around the country to inspire the youth of the city to achieve greater feats.

We as an association are a firm believer in the fact that there is always something to learn and grow from others, especially from those who have a plethora of experience in society. We encourage our members to garner growth by attending such events and take high levels of inspiration and energy back with them.

2^nd Edition: Youth Talks 2.0

Keeping in mind of the constant growth mindset at YWA, we are coming up with the 2nd edition of Youth Talks on 4th August 2024 with a line-up of some of the most experienced leaders of their specific industry. We will be slowly revealing their identities via our social media handles and our website.

About the Speakers:

Dr. Atul Kapoor is the Promoter and Managing Director of Regency Hospital Limited. A highly qualified surgeon, he holds a Master’s in Surgery from GSVM Medical College, Kanpur. Dr. Kapoor consistently excelled academically, achieving commendable positions during his under graduation.

Recognizing the dearth of quality medical facilities in Kanpur, he established the first Regency Hospital in 1993. Today, the group has expanded to six hospitals and continues to grow.

With a professional career spanning over 32 years, Dr. Kapoor brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of hospital management challenges to his role. He completed his schooling at Jaipuria Public School, Kanpur, & undergraduate in Commerce from Christ Church Degree College, Kanpur, thereby getting the educational background necessary to navigate the complex world of business and manufacturing. He started his journey with the purchasing department of LML. Followed by a two-year stint at Cousin Freres SA, France where he understood the intricacies of manufacturing technical sewing threads.

His father Mr. G.C. Lohia came back from Switzerland after getting his Engineering degree from FIT Zurich in 1963. Dr. Rishabh Jain, is the Managing Partner of B.C. Jain & Co. Chartered Accountants. Being a second-generation CA in his family, he consistently excelled academically, clearing all his CA exams in first attempt and securing all India rank in post qualification courses. He also holds a Doctorate degree in Corporate Debt Restructuring.

Having experience of more than 20 years in the field of finance and taxation, he was nominated by Government of India as Director on the Board of various listed companies like Modi Group, Bengal Chemicals and Prestige Group. He was also a member of the Committee of the U.P. Stock Exchange, Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a visiting speaker at IIM Ahmedabad.

Beyond his professional expertise, Dr. Jain is also chairman of MCES Trust, which aids towards education of the under privileged children and provides medical relief to needy people. This event is organised for mainly for our members with a sitting capacity of less than 50 people. This event is organised keeping the interests of our members in mind, hence, priority will be given to our members, however, we encourage non-members to attend the event too. We will shut the registrations once we have 50 registrations.
