Goals: A Match to Remember
At YWA, we aim for a wholistic development of our members by organising regular events of all types. Goals, was organised to inculcate a feeling of regular sportsmanship among the members.
The event served as a platform to increase a sense of fraternity and camaraderie among the members of YWA and, to level-up our skills.
Match Overview:
In a breathtaking clash of both of the teams, IITK Faculty Team squared off against YWA Team at IIT Kanpur on 24th September. The atmosphere was electric as the crowd gathered to witness a display of skill and sportsmanship that would keep them talking for weeks.
YWA Teams sported a fantastic jersey sponsored by New Theory (https://www.newtheoryclothing.com). New Theory is a prominent athleisure brand focussed on providing high quality clothing.
The match witnessed many twists & turns. We got to witness a tight match. Both the team played at their best but our team lost 4-2 to the host.
Viral Raja & Kartikay Garg (penalty) from our team scored 1 goal each.
Conclusion:
The football match will go down in history as a thrilling and memorable contest. It showcased the essence of football and served as a reminder of why the sport holds a special place in the hearts of fans all over the world.
