Cricket – Ok – Please II
In a heart-touching display of sportsmanship and philanthropy, Youth Works Association recently organized another cricket match named Cricket-Ok-Please II, Youth Works Association and IIT Kanpur faculty clashed in an early morning thriller on Dec 9.
YWA set the stage with 100 runs. An intense match full of excitement and camaraderie.
The Venue: The cricket ground was filled with excitement as players from different backgrounds and skill levels gathered to showcase their talents and contribute to a noble cause. Family, friends and supporters packed the stands, turning the event into a celebration of cricket and community spirit.
The Teams: Dressed in colorful jerseys emblazoned with the logos of the Youth Works Association and IIT Kanpur Faculty, the participating teams represented a mix of amateur and experienced players. The atmosphere was one of friendly competition as players, some of whom were trying their hand at cricket for the first time, combined with seasoned veterans to form diverse and inclusive teams.
Highlights of the Match: The match began with a formal toss, setting the stage for a day of good-natured competition. The teams displayed not only their cricketing skills but also their commitment towards the cause. YWA members and IIT Kanpur faculty members contributed in keeping the entire match exciting with their good sporting performance.
