Cricket – Ok – Please

The Youth Works Association organized a thrilling cricket match that brought together all its members. The enthusiasm was palpable as the players formed two teams and prepared to showcase their cricketing skills. The event was a fantastic opportunity for the young participants to exhibit their talent and passion for the sport. Begun at the early hours of day at 6:30 AM, the players enjoyed the calm and serenity of the morning hours during the match.

The match was played with immense energy and competitive spirit. Batting first, the winning, Team Black displayed remarkable prowess as they scored a total of 287 runs. Mr. Kartikay Garg & Mr. Rohan Agarwal exhibited exceptional stroke play and a keen eye for boundaries. Their collective effort resulted in a challenging target for the opposing, Team Black.

The losing team, undeterred by the imposing total, fought valiantly to chase down the score. However, they fell short by 105 runs, unable to match the formidable batting performance of their opponents. Despite the defeat, their resilience and sportsmanship were evident throughout the game.

Recognizing the outstanding performances, the Youth Works Association awarded several accolades. The Best Bowler award was bestowed upon Mr. Rajat Chikkar who displayed exceptional bowling skills and took 4 wickets, consistently troubling the batsmen. The Best Batsman award went to Mr. Kartikay Garg for scoring more than 50 runs with finesse and precision. The Best Fielder award went to Mr. Piyush Agarwal who caught the most number of catches.

The Man of the Match award was given to Mr. Rohan Agarwal who made the most significant impact on the game, contributing in multiple facets. Finally, the Best Team award was presented to the Team Black, recognizing their collective effort and success in victory.

Overall, the cricket match organized by the Youth Works Association was a thrilling and memorable event. It provided a platform for young cricketers to showcase their talent, foster camaraderie, and celebrate the spirit of the game.
